Here are the many ways to go around the MCA without an issue!
Editing Posts
There is nothing more annoying for the staff then to constantly tell people to use the edit feature. So here's how to edit your posts and threads if you mess up or make a mistake.
To edit a post or thread simply click on the pencil and paper icon in the bottom right corner.
You can then edit your post however you like, once done just provide a reason for your edit in the "Reason for editing" box and then click "Edit Post".
Done! No hassles from staff or other players.
Never go off-topic!
Always keep on-topic when replying and making threads. This means making threads under the right sub forums and not straying to far from the original goal of the thread. " A thread discussing ''Magic plugin'' should not turn into a thread about ''Last nights dinner''."
Signature Etiquette!
No one likes to see giant images in your signature. They fill up the forum and if you post a lot they end up looking like spam. So please keep images small otherwise they might be removed by a member of staff.
No Necromancy!
Necromancy is finding old posts and commenting on them so they bump up to the top of the thread list. This overrides current threads that will most likely be more relevant and important.
"One who finds out dated threads that are unlocked therefore still live and adds post(s) to them often deceiving other forum members into thinking the content is current."
If you do wish to bring back an old thread, make sure its relevant and doesn't contradict current threads.
Don't Re-suggest!
If you come up with a wonderful idea or need a question answered and can't wait to share it, make sure there isn't any posts similar already on the forum. This ensures there is no useless repeats of an idea on many similar threads.
